A small studio with one belief. The moments you love should live somewhere you can see them.
Like most people, we had thousands of photographs and almost none of them on a wall. They lived on phones and old drives, scrolled past and forgotten. Then one of them nearly disappeared with a broken device, and it hit us how much of our lives we were keeping in places we never actually look.
Chitra Chaukhat began as a way to fix that. To take the images that matter and give them a home in the real world, made with the kind of quality you would expect from a gallery, not a print shop.
Every piece passes through real hands. We polish, mount, clean and inspect each one ourselves. If it is not good enough to keep in our own home, it does not ship to yours.
We use optically clear acrylic, fade resistant inks and proper hardware. These are keepsakes, meant to look as good in twenty years as they do on the day they arrive.
Your photo. Your message. Your story. Nothing we make is generic, because the moments you choose to frame never are. Personalisation is not a feature for us. It is the whole point.
We could print faster. We choose not to. Each order is made only after you place it, because a memory pressed onto acrylic deserves attention, not assembly. Our small team handles a manageable number of pieces at a time so that nothing rushed ever leaves the studio.
That is also why we are happy to take on the unusual requests. The odd size. The tricky old photograph that needs restoring. The hundred piece corporate order with a deadline. Tell us what you need and we will find a way.
